Choosing your account type
Touring, regional, crew, or venue — pick the path that matches how you use Mintoor.
When you'd use this
You're on the onboarding screen right after signup and Mintoor is asking what kind of performer you are. This page explains what each option unlocks so you pick the one that fits — and what happens if you change your mind later.
The four account types
Touring artist. National indie touring artists playing multi-city routes. Unlocks the AI Routing engine, full tour management, outreach, and settlement. Pick this if you ever play outside your home radius.
Regional performer. Weekend and regional artists playing within 50–150 miles of home. Unlocks Weekend Finder, Schedule C bookkeeping, mileage tracking, and the $19/month tier. Pick this if you play 8+ shows a month within driving distance and don't run multi-city tours.
Band member, crew, or tour manager. You're joining somebody else's account, not running your own. Usually you arrive here by invitation. You'll see day-of information, call sheets, and lodging — but not the owner's financials unless they explicitly share them.
Venue. You're a booker or talent buyer responding to Mintoor artists' inquiries. Venue accounts skip the artist onboarding entirely and land on the venue inbox.
What you get by picking each
All paid tiers include: account, messaging, calendar sync, venue directory access, and the shared core features. The difference is what's stacked on top.
- Touring unlocks the Router, unlimited tours, and unlimited acts.
- Regional locks the Router off (you don't need it), but unlocks Weekend Finder and the cheaper $19 tier.
- Band/Crew is view-only by default — you won't accidentally edit something.
- Venue is a completely different shell: inbox, calendar, claim tools.
Can I switch later?
Yes. See Switching account types later for the flow. Your data stays put — the app just shows you different surfaces.
