Setting up your profile
The five minutes of profile setup that pay back every time a venue or bandmate sees your info.
When you'd use this
You just created your account and want to get everything in place so Mintoor greets you with your name, shows dates in your timezone, and presents a complete profile to venue bookers who receive your inquiries.
What to fill in, in order
- Display name. Your stage or professional name. This appears on day sheets, outreach emails, and anything venues see. Use the name you book under.
- Profile photo. Square image, 512×512 or larger. A clear headshot or band photo — whatever you'd use for a press kit. Visible to anyone you send an inquiry to.
- Home city. Drives the default radius for Weekend Finder and the Router's home-to-first-stop leg. Be specific — "Nashville, TN," not just "Nashville."
- Timezone. Mintoor shows all dates and times in your set timezone. Wrong timezone is the #1 reason a load-in time looks an hour off.
- Contact info. Phone (for venues that prefer to text), backup email, emergency contact. Only Mintoor and your own team see this unless you explicitly share it in an inquiry.
- Units. Miles vs kilometers. Currency. These cascade across the whole app — tour budgets, Router drive times, Schedule C export.
What venues see vs. what stays private
Public on your inquiry message: display name, photo, home city, genre tags, draw estimate, streaming links.
Private until you choose to share: phone number, backup email, emergency contact, payment info, tax info, personal address.
A venue that replies to your inquiry doesn't automatically get your phone — they see it only if you add it to the reply, or if you move the conversation to settled/confirmed.
Updating later
Profile → Settings. Changes to display name and photo propagate to existing inquiries and day sheets within 10 minutes. Cached copies in PDFs you've already downloaded don't update (regenerate the PDF if you need the new version).
