Accepting an invitation to join a band
You got an email from Mintoor saying "[Artist] invited you to join their band." Here's what to do.
Steps
- Click the invitation link in the email.
- Sign in or sign up — if you don't have Mintoor, you'll be prompted to create an account (free, 30 seconds).
- Review what you're joining — the band name, your role (Tour Manager / Crew / Guest), and what you'll see.
- Click Accept.
- You land on the band's dashboard — at your permission level.
What to expect
- Your role is set by the bandleader (not you) — see Understanding your role and permissions for the matrix.
- Most people joining as Band Member or Crew will see the road-sheet view by default — today's show, travel info, lodging, contacts.
- Tour Managers see more (edit access to tour, financials, bookings).
Do I need to pay?
No. The band owner pays for seats on their subscription. You get access through their paid plan.
Using your invite on multiple bands
You can be part of multiple bands on Mintoor. Each band shows up in the left-sidebar band switcher.
If you already have an account
When you accept, Mintoor links the invite to your existing account. Your role on this band doesn't affect your role on your own stuff.
Still stuck?
- Invitation expired? Ask the bandleader to resend. Invites expire after 14 days.
- Declined by mistake? Ask bandleader to resend — declines are not permanent.
