Editing shows on behalf of the band
As Tour Manager, you can edit any show on the band's tours. Here's what you can change.
What you can edit
Per show:
- Venue — swap if a venue falls through
- Date — shift ±1 day or larger shifts
- Deal terms — guarantee, door %, expense cap
- Load-in / soundcheck / set times — day-of logistics
- Hospitality / rider info — what's provided, what band brings
- Lodging — where crew stays post-show
- Private notes — your internal notes
- Public notes — shared with the band and crew
Coordinating with the Owner
Tour Managers and Owners share the same tour view, so any edit you make is visible to the Owner the next time they open the tour.
Every edit you make also lands in the Activity tab on the tour, with the field that changed, the old and new values, and a timestamp. The Owner (and any other tour member) can scroll the timeline to see what shifted and when. Bandmate accountability without a meeting.
Per-edit rollback (one-click undo on a single field change) and Owner approval gates for major changes are still on the roadmap. Until those land, coordinate big changes (venue swap, deal term changes, cancelling a confirmed show) with the Owner directly via message before you make them.
Notifying the venue
Mintoor does not auto-notify venues when you edit a confirmed show. For changes like a load-in adjustment, message the venue yourself through the inquiry thread.
Still stuck?
- Made the wrong edit? Manually update the field back to its prior value.
- Need to cancel a confirmed show? Coordinate with the Owner first, then update the stop status.
