Dialing in your results

Weekend Finder ranks instead of filters — the fit score does the narrowing a filter panel used to. Three levers reshape the list.

Location

The location field at the top of the page. It defaults to your home base, but you can type any town or city — planning a weekend around your in-laws' place, a day-job trip, anywhere. Results recompute around the new center instantly.

Radius

The slider next to the location. Tighten it for "everywhere within 30 miles," widen it when the weekend's open and you don't mind the drive. Distance is the largest factor in the fit score, so the ranking already prefers close rooms — widening the radius adds options at the bottom, it doesn't bury the close ones.

Weekend chips

Pick which upcoming Friday/Saturday you're planning. This keeps the session anchored to a real date — and it's the date your pitch emails will reference.

Where the old filters went

Earlier versions had a Refine panel with capacity and claimed-only filters. The fit score replaced it:

  • Capacity is scored against your expected draw, and out-of-range rooms are flagged on the card ("above your draw") rather than hidden — sometimes that 400-cap room is worth a stretch pitch.
  • Booker reachability shows as chips (✓ Verified booker / Has contact / Site only) and is weighted into the score, so reachable venues rise naturally.
  • Genre is weighted from your act's tags.

If you want a harder cut than the ranking gives you, use the shortlist: sweep the list once, shortlist what qualifies, and work from there.

When the list looks wrong

  • Everything's unscored — your act has no expected draw set. Fix that first; it's what powers capacity fit.
  • Too sparse — widen the radius or try a neighboring city in the location field.
  • Too far — tighten the radius; the close rooms are already at the top.
