How to claim your venue

The full claim flow. Usually approved within 24 hours.

Step 1 — Find your venue's Mintoor page

Two ways:

  • Click the link in an inquiry email — it takes you to your venue's Mintoor page
  • Go to mintoor.com → Venues → search for your venue by name and city

Step 2 — Click "Claim this venue"

Top-right of the venue page. Opens the claim form.

Step 3 — Fill in claim details

  • Your name and title (e.g., "Dana Smith, Talent Buyer")
  • Your work email (must match venue's domain if possible)
  • Your phone (optional but helps with verification)
  • Proof method — today, claims are verified via email domain match: we send a confirmation email to the venue's public booking email and you click it. LinkedIn and phone verification are coming soon.

Step 4 — Wait for review

Most claims approve within 24 hours (often within a few hours). You'll get an email when approved.

If we need more info, we'll reach out via email.

Step 5 — After approval

  • Email confirms your claim
  • You're auto-logged into your venue's Mintoor dashboard
  • Start by updating any wrong info (capacity, genre tags, booker email, etc.)

Common review outcomes

Approved immediately — email domain matches, no conflicts.

Pending more info — we couldn't verify from the info given. We'll ask for LinkedIn, a business card, or a call.

Rejected — rare. Usually because someone else has already claimed the venue (you'll see the existing claim and can dispute if needed).

Hold — competing claim — two people from the same venue are both trying to claim. We resolve by talking to both.

Disputes

If you think someone fraudulently claimed your venue:

  1. Email hello@mintoor.com with proof of your role (business card, work email confirmation, phone number match).
  2. We review and transfer ownership if warranted.
  3. Original claimant is removed; you take over.

Rare but handled case-by-case.
