Viewing an artist's EPK via a Mintoor link

The inquiry email has links. Here's what you find behind each.

Every inquiry has clickable pills — Spotify, Apple Music, Bandcamp, YouTube, etc. Tap and you're in the artist's profile on that service.

Most bookers sample 30–60 seconds of music to decide whether the genre actually fits. Trust those first impressions; they're usually right.

Public Mintoor artist page​

Many artists link /artists/their-slug — their Mintoor public page. Includes:

  • Bio
  • Photo gallery
  • Tour history
  • Press quotes
  • Press kit download link
  • Technical rider (if shared publicly)

EPK attachment​

Some artists attach their EPK as a PDF in the inquiry. Contains:

  • Band bio
  • Stage plot / input list
  • Hospitality rider
  • Recent press
  • Booking contact

Past shows in your region​

Mintoor auto-adds a "past nearby shows" section to inquiries, showing venues within 200 miles where the artist has played. Good sanity check — if they've played legit venues nearby recently, they're a real touring act.

Social media​

Instagram handle usually included. Quick glance at the feed tells you:

  • Is this an active, touring band?
  • Do their live photos match their online presence?
  • Any recent touring photos from the road?

What you're looking for​

  • Genre fit with your programming
  • Draw proof (past venues, streaming numbers, touring history)
  • Recent activity (inactive bands don't draw, regardless of Spotify numbers)
  • Professional presentation (clean EPK, reasonable ask = more likely to be reliable if you book them)

Red flags​

  • No streaming presence — pass unless it's a genre that doesn't stream (rare).
  • Inactive social media for 6+ months — touring ambition without touring infrastructure.
  • Unrealistic draw claims — "we draw 500 in every market" is never true for indie acts.
  • Generic / spammy inquiry text — Mintoor artists should have personalized pitches; overly generic = flag.

Still stuck?​

  • Artist's streaming link broken. Ask in reply; they may have updated and not refreshed Mintoor.
  • Can't tell if draw estimate is realistic. Ask for specific recent venue names + attendance. Legit artists share it.
