Notification preferences

Which events notify you, on which surfaces.

Where to set them

Profile → Notifications. Each toggle controls both the in-app bell and the email for that event type. Changes save immediately — no save button.

What you can toggle

Four event types currently:

  • Settlement recorded — when someone (typically a tour manager) logs a settlement on a tour you own.
  • Variance flag (>20% under) — when actual payout comes in well under projection. Worth a look.
  • Tour edits — when a tour member edits a show on a tour you own.
  • Trial ending soon — a heads-up 1–2 days before your free trial wraps up.

Everything's on by default. Switch one off and Mintoor stops sending it on both the bell and email.

What stays on regardless

A few critical events ignore your preferences because missing them costs you money:

  • Failed payment / card expiring
  • Subscription canceled (confirmation)
  • Inquiry replies from venues you've pitched

You can mute these in your email client if you really want to, but the in-app bell stays loud.

Coming soon

  • Push notifications to a phone (iOS / Android)
  • Daily digest instead of per-event email
  • Quiet hours — a nightly window suppressing pushes
  • Per-tour overrides — mute a specific tour without muting all of them

For now, the four toggles above are the lever set.
