I'm not receiving email notifications

Mintoor emails are going missing. Let's figure out why.

When you'd use this

You're expecting an inquiry reply, tour invitation, billing receipt, or magic link — and it's not showing up.

Check these in order

1. Check spam / junk

The most common cause. Search your entire mailbox (not just Inbox) for mintoor or hello@mintoor.com.

If found in spam:

  • Mark as Not Spam
  • Add hello@mintoor.com and noreply@mintoor.com to your contacts
  • Gmail users: also check the Promotions tab

2. Check filters

If you've ever made a filter that routes emails containing certain words, it might be catching Mintoor. Check:

  • Gmail: Settings → Filters and Blocked Addresses → review.
  • Apple Mail: Mail → Preferences → Rules → review.
  • Outlook: File → Manage Rules & Alerts → review.

3. Confirm the email on file is correct

Mintoor sends to the email you used to sign up. If that address changed (or was a typo), that's the issue.

4. Check notification preferences

Maybe you turned off that category of notifications at some point.

  • Profile → Settings → Notifications.
  • Confirm the relevant category is set to "All messages" or at least "Mentions only."

5. Corporate domain issues

If your email is a company domain (@mycompany.com), your IT team may be blocking Mintoor.

  • Ask them to whitelist mintoor.com and resend.com (we send through Resend).
  • Common culprits: Mimecast, Proofpoint, Barracuda. They're paranoid about unknown senders.

6. Email provider-specific quirks

  • iCloud: aggressive spam filter. Add Mintoor to contacts, check Junk folder daily for a week.
  • Yahoo: may delay or reject bulk-looking emails. Try a Gmail address as a backup.
  • ProtonMail: generally reliable. Check custom filters.
  • Corporate Office 365 / Outlook: most likely to have IT-level filtering.

Check Mintoor's outbound status

If nothing in the above helps, there might be an issue on our side. Check:

  • status.mintoor.com for any active incident.
  • If the status page is clear, email hello@mintoor.com from an alternate address with "Email delivery" in the subject. We can check our Resend logs for your specific emails and see exactly what happened.

Still stuck?

  • Pushes work but emails don't? Consistent problem pattern = provider-side filtering, not a Mintoor issue. Work through the steps above.
  • Used to work, now broken? Something changed on your end — new filter, new device, new corporate policy. Retrace recent changes.
