My data looks wrong — how do I report it?

Wrong capacity on a venue. Missing stop on a tour. Incorrect P&L. Here's how to flag it so we can fix it.

When you'd use this

Something Mintoor is showing you is wrong, and you want it fixed. Common cases:

  • Venue capacity off — we inherited a lot of venue data from public sources. Some of it's stale.
  • Venue booker email outdated — the person there is different now.
  • Settlement total off — math looks wrong on a tour.
  • Tour showing wrong projected revenue — some input was mis-entered or miscalculated.

Self-service fixes first

Many "wrong data" cases can be fixed by you directly:

  • Your own tour / gig / budget entry: open the record, click Edit, fix the field, save.
  • A venue you've claimed: venue dashboard → Edit venue. Change capacity, booker, contact info.
  • A venue you haven't claimed: you can't edit public venue data. Report it to us.

Reporting to Mintoor

If it's not self-fixable:

  1. Find the record you want corrected.
  2. Click the "Flag data" (flag icon) or "Report an issue" link on the record detail page.
  3. Select the field and describe what's wrong.
  4. Submit.

Or email hello@mintoor.com with:

  • The URL of the record (or venue slug)
  • What's currently shown
  • What the correct value should be
  • How you know (e.g., "I played there last month and capacity is ~220, not 500")

Response time

  • Venue data fixes: typically 1–3 business days. Complex cases (disputed claim ownership, contradictory sources) take longer.
  • Your-own-record fixes: we usually don't touch — we coach you to edit yourself.
  • Billing / invoice corrections: 1 business day via hello@mintoor.com.

Systemic data issues

If you notice a pattern (e.g., all venues in a certain city have wrong capacity because we ingested one bad dataset), email us — we can bulk-fix via our admin panel rather than one at a time.

What we can't fix

  • Third-party data — if we display something pulled from Spotify or Apple Music (e.g., your artist page image) and it's wrong, fix it on Spotify's side. Our mirror updates within 24 hours.
  • Historical records — past settlements and invoices, once finalized, we don't retroactively edit. We can issue correcting credit notes or supplemental records.

Still stuck?

Some cases need a conversation — email us and we'll sort it out. hello@mintoor.com.
