Post-show recap (5-minute entry)

Five minutes after the show ends, capture it while it's fresh.

When you'd use this

The gig just ended. Before you drive home (or before you forget anything), log the essentials.

How Mintoor surfaces this

The morning after a show, when you open the stop, a green "Log the recap" prompt sits above the tabs. It's there for any past show that hasn't had a settlement recorded yet, between 1 hour and 14 days after show start. Tap it and Mintoor takes you straight to the Settle tab.

(After 14 days the prompt disappears, but you can still record the settlement manually anytime via the Settle tab.)

What to fill in

Open the gig and tap Log actuals (or follow the prompt). Fill in:

  1. Attendance — eyeballed count or door count if you got it
  2. Paid — amount you left with (cash, check pending, direct deposit projected)
  3. Merch sales — total revenue
  4. Expenses deducted at settlement — sound tip, venue expenses, anything pulled at payout

Tap Save.

What Mintoor does with this

  • Records the actuals against the gig record
  • Updates your year-to-date totals
  • Compares to the projection if you ran one — variance is shown on the stop

Why logging same-night matters

Memory decay is real. Things that drift if you wait until morning:

  • Exact attendance (day-after estimates drift +/- 30%)
  • Tips given to sound
  • Exact merch cash on hand
  • Conversations with the booker about future bookings (huge to capture)

Coming soon

A few recap features that aren't built yet:

  • A 1–5 star venue review with private and optionally-shared modes
  • Aggregated venue ratings displayed on venue detail
  • A dedicated guided modal that walks you through attendance / payout / merch / notes step-by-step on mobile (today the Settle tab does it all on one screen)

For now, keep your own private notes on the gig record — only you see them.

Still stuck?

  • Forgot to log post-show. Go back via Gigs → past gig → Edit actuals. Anytime.
  • Venue hasn't paid yet. Log as "pending" — when you receive, toggle to paid.
