Availability and blackout management

Tell artists which dates aren't bookable.

One-off blackouts​

Specific dates unavailable:

  • Venue closed for renovation
  • Private bookings (wedding, corporate)
  • Inclement weather closure expected
  • Personal reasons

Mark on the calendar. Blocked dates won't surface to artists who would otherwise have pitched them.

Holiday / seasonal windows​

Mark entire weeks as blackout (e.g., closed between Christmas and New Year). Select date range → bulk mark unavailable.

Confirmed shows auto-block​

Shows you've confirmed via Mintoor auto-block the date. You don't need to separately mark.

Coming soon​

A few availability features that aren't built yet:

  • Recurring blackout patterns — "first Tuesday of every month" or "every Sunday brunch"
  • Partial windows — "private event 7–9pm, open for a late set 10pm+"
  • Public schedule visibility toggle — choose whether to expose your calendar on your Mintoor page

For now, blackouts are one date at a time, and your calendar isn't public.

Integration with hold / confirmation​

  • Holds — soft block on the date
  • Confirmed shows — hard block, always visible as booked

Still stuck?​

  • Artists pitching dates you've marked blocked. They can still pitch occasionally — decline with "date already confirmed."
  • Calendar not refreshing. Reload the venue dashboard.
